Calyx (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a workout and training app operated by an independent developer. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and your choices. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the app.

What we collect

Account information — your email address and a password (stored only as a securely hashed value, never in plain text). Optionally a display name if you provide one.
Training data you create — your workout, session, and program activity: completed sessions, elapsed time, and program progress.

What we do NOT collect

No analytics or usage-tracking SDKs.
No advertising identifiers and no ads.
No location data.
No contacts, photos, or device files.
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing.

How we use your data

To create and secure your account and log you in.
To save your training activity so it is available across sessions and devices.

Where data is stored

Data is stored on a private server located in Germany (EU). Traffic between the app and the server is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).

Data retention & deletion

We keep your account data until you ask us to delete it. To delete your account and all associated training data, email us at the address below and we will remove it within 30 days.

Children

Calyx is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
